DeltaCast: Mexican Tailwind

Delta Economics is forecasting a promising month ahead for trade between Mexico and its top exporting partners. September-October will see trade improve with China by +12.3%, with Brazil by +12.2% and Colombia by +11.9%, on the previous month. Trade is also forecast to increase with Mexico’s fellow NAFTA partners – Canada by +11.8% and with the USA by +11.6%. Overall, Mexican exports will see a month-on-month increase of 11.7% for September-October. This is a slight improvement on last week’s estimation.

Delta Economics also predicts healthy sales in September-October for outbound goods in the technology-orientated sectors. Sales in Electrical Machinery will improve by +11.3%, whilst exports in Automotive Vehicles will grow by +11.8% and Mechanical Appliances will improve by +12% month-on-month. This will of course come as a relief to the Mexican technology industry after some less than fruitful sales results in August-September. For more information, visit Delta Economics.

Hasta la próxima!
